Merry Christmas

As women, we tend to take on the role of Super Woman: organizer, shopper, wrapper, planner, baker, cook, decorator, cleaner, taxi driver, concert attendee, etc., especially during the Christmas season & in preparation for it.  For me, the past few weeks have felt a little hairy.  I tell myself every year that next year will be better;  I’ll be more organized & less frazzled.  And every year, I take that same vow (I’m sensing a pattern here.).   I’m not quite sure how to break this pattern, but I think it may be necessary to make Christmas more meaningful & relaxed for everyone.  So I begin today!

I’m still in my pyjamas, coffee in hand, and plan on spending some real quality time with my kids.  I’m really looking forward to the next two weeks.  No school = spending time with my kids & family.  My wish is that each of you would take time in the next few days or weeks to spend quality time with those close to you & with your Heavenly Father.  May you be able to say with the angels:

“Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
(Luke 2:14 NLT)

On behalf of the Women’s Ministry Team, I would like to extend a very Merry Christmas to each of you!
